If you've never used this site before, select "Login" at the left, then "Request Password." This will prompt you for your "Username" OR "E-mail address". It is recommended your Username be used because many Troop members share an e-mail address. If you do not know your Username please contact our Troop Webmaster Hayden Ruttenberg  at: webmaster@truckee267.mytroop.us. Boy Scout Troop 267 (ages 11-17) meets most Wednesdays at the Veterans' Hall in Truckee, at 7:00 pm.  Our Scoutmaster, Dave Huggins, can be contacted at 530-587-3320 or scoutmaster@truckee267.mytroop.us.

Truckee Cub Scout Pack 734 is for younger boys in school grades 1-5.  Contact Mike Peters at mpeters@tahoedonner.com for more information about Pack 734.  Other information about Scouting in general can be found at http://beascout.org .

Troop Meeting Downstairs at the Vets' Hall 3/21

The Troop Meeting will be held downstairs at the Veterans' Hall on March 21.  We will be preparing for the Spring Break trip to Death Valley.  TDRPD will be resurfacing the floor upstairs.  

Sledding Outing

We are going to change the time and location of our sledding outing tomorrow to Tahoe Donner Trout Creek at 4:00pm.  This will be the sled hill run by Tahoe Donner on the driving range.  After that closes, we will go into the hot tubs.  Please bring $5 or a Tahoe Donner recreation card, and Troop 267 will pay the remainder.

Moaning Caverns Spelunking

We have a trip to Moaning Caverns this coming weekend.  The highlight of this trip is spelunking (with a paid, knowledgeable, trained, experienced guide) through various underground passages.  We will meet at 5:00pm Friday afternoon, March 9.

Plug and Feather Rock Splitting

Use the Plug and Feather method to split rocks for installation at Jack Walterscheid's Eagle Project. We will drill holes and drive wedges to split granite.  We will do this at the shop at CED Electric, 10338 River Park Place (off West River Road in Truckee).

Boreal Night Skiing

Troop 267 will have an outing at Boreal Ski Area.  We will meet at the Veterans' Hall at 5:00pm on Wednesday, February 7 and carpool up.  If you want to go earlier, and have your own pass, we can meet you there.  Please bring your own sack dinner.  The cost for those who don't have their own passes will be $8.  Please sign up on the website so we can know who to look for before we leave.

Luke Salmon Eagle Project

Luke Salmon will be holding his Eagle Scout project on February 10th and 11th. We will be building wooden benches for the Tahoe Donner Alder creek adventure center. These will be used year round for cross-country skiers and horseback riders. Please plan to stay from 9:30-3:30. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided. We will be working in his garage, but be prepared for cold weather. Gloves, layers, and eye protection are recommended. Please bring power tools such as a drill or impact if you have it.
