Jack Walterscheid Eagle Scout Project - Old Jail Museum - January 13th and 14th 2018

Posted on Jan 4 2018 - 11:36am

I will be starting my Eagle Scout Project on Saturday and Sunday January 13th and 14th.  We will start at 9:30am and finish around 4:00pm with a half an hour lunch.  Since we have shorter days I am hoping to complete the project in two days, this also allows my helping hands to show up either day or both. We will be doing some landscaping work such as rebuilding terraces, moving eroded dirt back up the hill, creating a sitting bench out of stone, and general landscape maintenance.  Be prepared for the weather, warm layered clothing, rain gear, work gloves, eye protection, boots or heavier shoes.  Lunch will be provided along with hot drinks.  Parking is available at the Veteran's Hall or the dirt lot across the street from Veterans Hall.  Please feel free to bring an extra shovel, rake, and/or mattocks "pick axe".

Tree Lot tear-down

Posted on Dec 22 2017 - 10:00am

We will tear down the tree lot on SATURDAY at 3pm. Please bring 9/16 inch socket wrenches and brooms.  I do need two scout/parent combos to meet Alex Linde at the warehouse at 10 AM to clean that out. Please let me know if you were available for that.  Jenn
