World Cup Service Project

Posted on Mar 4 2017 - 7:36pm

The skiing World Cup is coming to Squaw Valley March 9-12.  Troop 267 has volunteered to help with cleanup of the bleachers at the bottom of the race course each evening during the World Cup.  We will work each evening Thursday through Saturday from 5:30 to about 6:30pm.  This is a community service project.  Everyone is welcome to watch some of the best skiers in the world compete.  We can walk to the edge of the course and watch.  Anyone with a Squaw-Alpine pass can ski up to the edge of the course and watch.  Please sign up on the Troop website so we can make sure we will get the work done.  If each and parent could come out at least once we should be able to get our work done.
